My passion and love of all things fabric and textiles has no bounds and with 30 years industry experience, I very much enjoy seeing initial design briefs brought to life and realisation.
I initially trained at the reputable London College of Furniture where I studied and mastered the design skills and manufacturing techniques to produce and install, beautifully handcrafted, interior furnishings.
Since arriving in Australia in 1999, I've worked in various roles within the interior design field from sales consulting to interior furnishing specialist which has afforded me the opportunity to work with the finest fabric houses and suppliers; sourcing, specifying and presenting luxury design products & solutions to the trade.
In 2009 I started 'alterior' as a creative outlet for my craft; designing, making and installing custom, handmade curtains, blinds, bed furnishings, cushions and accessories for leading interior designers as well as my own clients. I've been fortunate to earn a valuable reputation within the industry for my 'attention to detail' and for producing an exceptional end product all executed with exemplary customer service and satisfaction.
Based in the Southern Highlands, I work mainly in the Greater Sydney Region but projects have taken me to Canberra ACT and regional NSW.
I regard each project as an individual expression of the client and as such take great effort to personally understand the clients brief and expectations; sourcing products and presenting design solutions that will ultimately deliver on style, functionality and budget.
